In this week’s episode of The Mindset Coach Podcast, we explore another of our client case studies.
We use coaching case studies like these in our training for the Mindset Coach Certification program so that our coaches learn a wealth of the practical applications of the wide range of modalities we train and certify them in.
This is, of course, in addition to ongoing live, weekly coaching practice.
This week’s case study is about Layla, a client who has lost her motivation. One symptom of her lack of motivation is that she has started hitting the snooze button instead of leaping out of bed each morning as she used to do.
We explore how using strategies and strategy elicitation can help us understand how Layla is running this new pattern so that she can recognise the trigger and sequence of internal representations she uses to make this habit happen.
Once we know how Layla runs the pattern, we can help her to change the strategy so that she is able to achieve her goal of getting up when the alarm goes off.
